Work done: Revising “Adventures in Pithea.” Two pages done, lots of rewriting. It’ll be a whole new story by the time I’m done. Same plot and characters, but different tone and style. That has to be a good thing.

Work done: Revising “Adventures in Pithea.” A few paragraphs of rewriting, nothing spectacular, but at least I managed to do something for a few minutes.

Work done: Revising “Adventures in Pithea.” Three pages done.

Work done: Revising “Adventures in Pithea.” Suffice it to say, I didn’t do much today. I’ve had a headache since I got off work, and didn’t get much sleep last night. But I still went upstairs to work at around 11 pm, worked for 15 minutes, then realized I couldn’t really concentrate. So I laid down and ended up falling asleep for over an hour.

Work done: Revising “Adventures in Pithea.” Four pages done today, because there wasn’t as much rewriting to do on those pages. I’m flying now!

Work done: Rewriting and revising “Adventures in Pithea.” 1 1/2 pages done, with an emphasis on the rewriting. And it was an action scene, which have always been harder for me, so I don’t feel as bad not even doing 2 pages. I also realized something–some of the rewriting I’m doing is turning out to be more words than the section being replaced. So if I write 600 words, but what was originally there was only 200, it’s not an accurate reflection of how much work I’m doing when I only got through a page, but wrote more than what was originally there. Though on the other hand, the original pages are double spaced, so when I say I did 1 1/2 pages, it’s really not that much. But hey, I’m on page 28, which is at least past the 10 pages I worried would be all the further I’d get by the end of July.

Work done: Rewriting and revising “Adventures in Pithea.” Just shy of two pages today. I may have to stop counting how many pages I get done in a day, unless it really picks up. This is depressing. At this rate, I’ll be done in December. Except not even then, because I’ll stop working on this in November to write a new story for NaNoWriMo. On the plus side, I’m apparently only about 5 minutes behind my monthly goal for Camp NaNo now. That’s good.

Work done: Rewriting and revising “Adventures in Pithea.” Two pages down, 300 to go.

Work done: More revising of AiP. Then I got tired and took a nap. Not from the work I was doing, though, but because I got five hours of sleep last night. Then I went to a concert and was home by 10:30, but spent the rest of the night posting videos from the concert on Facebook. Now I’m almost 1 full hour of work behind for Camp NaNo. Guess I won’t be able to allow myself to slack off much this week.

Work done: Revising AiP, probably more rewriting, but I don’t remember. I did it a bit after midnight, before I went to bed, thinking I’d do more later in the day, and didn’t.
