Work done: Timeline for Pursuit of Power. I’ve decided that seven months is far too long to wander a moderate-sized desert in search of something, which means my timelines aren’t meshing like I’d hoped. I haven’t decided which storyline needs altered though.

Work done: Timeline for Pursuit of Power. The second half has proven quite difficult, since there is an entire year’s worth of things happening for which the timing is nebulous. I’m trying to narrow things down, but there’s a lot of, “I don’t know how long that should take…three months? Seven months?” So it’s slow going. Hopefully I’ll get some extra work in this weekend.
I didn’t get much work done today, because I was too busy making the following image. Why? No real reason…I got inspired when I made a notebook for myself on Zazzle the other day, because I loved the motto I came up with to put on it. So I decided to come up with a picture to go along with it and make it a thing. I would have made it my banner on this page, but I couldn’t get it to look right. It’s on my Facebook page, though, and on this notebook: Write Every Day Notebook (To be clear, I designed that notebook, I did not steal the picture or saying. Also, that’s not the original notebook I made; that one isn’t public, because it’s more specific to me.)

Work done: Timeline for Pursuit of Power, about halfway done.
Not that I haven’t missed a day before now, but this was a special situation. A stomach bug hit my family Sunday, and today was the first day since then I felt particularly up to working on my writing. It did take me some extra pushing to get myself back into this mode, too, after 3 days off. But here I am.

Work done: Plot outline for Pursuit of Power, which I think is done now. After wrestling with a murky area, inspiration hit me at about 2:30 last night when I was trying to sleep. I had to turn a light on and write out the flow of events, and then talk them out with my husband today to make sure they work. I am so happy and at the same time apologetic about the plans I have for this story. Call me crazy, but I feel so bad when I do mean things to my characters… In any event, tomorrow I will hopefully put the events of Pursuit of Power into my timeline, to make sure they match okay with the main story, and then it might just be time to dive back into revising the actual book.

Work done: Finished the timeline for my current work in progress. Tried to bust through my problem with the plot outline of Pursuit of Power, but it still needs work.
Time worked: :39, plus unknown time spent trying to figure out how to progress in the currently stalled plot outline of Pursuit of Power. I forgot my iPod at work, so I passed the time trying to figure out what Alexander and Leahna should be up to when they show up in part four of the first novel.
Work done: All timeline. I’ve only got a few entries to make at the very end of the story, and then it’s completely mapped out on the timeline. Then I’ll have nothing left to do but figure out that blasted Pursuit of Power issue. Crap.

Work done: Worked on plot for Pursuit of Power. Still trying to figure out how to get to the point where this story matches up with the unnamed novel I’ve already written. I’m so close, but I need to work through a few more issues on the Pursuit of Power plot. Can’t quite decide how best to get from point A to point C. I also have a few dangling plot points that I keep forgetting to tie up. So close…

Work done: Timeline for the Series, finally into part 4 (the final part). If all goes well, I should be able to finish it tomorrow. Then I only have a bit more outline for Pursuit of Power left to plan before I should be able to go on to the second read-through of the novel.

Work done: All timeline for the Series. I’ll admit some of that was spent just trying to figure out how to make the program I’m using do what I want it to do. Still, it was a lot of time spent on my writing work.

Work done: Worked on the outline for Pursuit of Power…still not caught up to the last place it intersects with the Series (one of a few working titles for the novel I’ve already written and am currently revising), which is still waiting for a second read-through. Also spent some time working on the timeline specifically for the events in the Series. Once these two things are finally done, I will start the second read-through.
Incidentally, I realized today that the plot I’m outlining (Pursuit of Power) will very possibly end up being my NaNoWriMo novel for this November. It’ll be the most prepared I’ve ever been for a NaNo month, and that’s considering I was pretty darn prepared last year.
